Confucius once said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

I never understood that phrase until I had my first client, my oldest son. Photography isn't my job, it's my passion, my art, my joy...my heart. The minute I lift my camera to my eye, everything else around me disappears. The only thing I focus on (pardon the pun), is what I'm seeing through my lens and it's usually never what anyone else sees. Whether it's something *not so* simple as a leaf, a branch, a flower petal, or the sweet face of a newborn, a child, a family, a pet, or a high school senior about to embark on the rest of their life. I always see a story. I feel the story, and I shoot for that story.

I will photograph anything and anyone, but high school seniors is where it all began for me. My oldest son was my first client and that's when I knew I belonged behind the lens. High school seniors have become my niche. I have so much fun with their style, their personalities and learning what their plans are for their futures. I have met some wonderful families and have even developed friendships with some. I love when senior season begins and I am always sad to see it end.

I enjoy gathering families together and creating memories for them to hang on their walls. Whether it's a couple and their furbabies or parents with their children.

I love seeing the energy and the love between couples, especially those about to begin new life together.

I have so much fun capturing the innocence and playfulness of children. Their energy and their personalities are so clearly visible in photography.

I love the fun challenge of working with animals and wildlife. Whether it's a family pet or the wild animals out in nature.

I absolutely adore photographing the beauty of my surroundings. From wide open landscapes to the tiniest of snowflakes.

Everything is worth capturing. Whether I have my Canon or my phone, I take photos everyday of everything. Freezing a moment in time otherwise forgotten is one the most beautiful things we can do.

With all that said, I would love the opportunity to work with you. I am open to any ideas you might have for a photo session. Lets grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and talk!
